Over the years, I have periodically been astounded (perhaps unjustly so, I
should have suspected) how much time and effort an engineer expends
interacting with Big Blue.

It's a very complex subject. Perhaps I should offer a course at the local
community college, "Investing the Blue Citadel: Managing Your Relationship
with IBM" :)
