There seems to be a minor effort in obfuscating the preferences in the New Navigator.
I found some in /QIBM/UserData/OS400/Navigator/PREFERENCES
The subdirectories do not make any sense UNLESS you look at them by owner. For example
EDTF '/QIBM/UserData/OS400/Navigator/PREFERENCES'
That shows you the owner and gets you past the obfuscated directory name. Then the file names within that directory help to confirm you're in the right directory:
