@Patrik
Do you need this if the IBMi is going to be a client in the process or does
it not make a difference?

Does anyone have examples on how to configure NFS on IBMi as a client to
a server on a QNAP NFS Server?

I have the guides from IBM, but they are only good for someone who knows
what to do.

Create an empty directory in the IFS where the the NFS server's content
will be visible. Start the NFS client processes (strnfssvr). You need all
except *SVR. Use strdfu on qatocstart to make these run at IPL time.

Then, it's just a matter of issuing a MOUNT command (probably edit
qstruppgm to make it happen at IPL time). Use F4 for help. You may want to
use "soft" instead of "hard" as mount option. This allows requests to time
out and to eventually unmount a no longer responding server without an IPL.

Does that help?
