we too have the *COMP messages show up in the message subfile of our menu.

However, to remove those messages, we do a
RMVMSG CLEAR(*OLD).

I would like to be able to test a routine that would JUST REMOVE THE LAST
*COMP
MESSAGE.

Is there something simple to do this? Do I need some loop, first finding
the ending message key and go backwards?
