One of the interesting side-effects of NFS.
Sometimes you need to IPL to be able to get it working after an unsuccessful UNMOUNT.
In the past generally we would tell customers not to unmount the NFS file system unless they were IPLing.
Would be interesting to know why that occurs and why an IPL is required to recover.
