The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
...you can do that with GET_XML_FILE, something like this...
xmlparse(document get_xml_file('path/file/....xml'))

Subject: Re: Good way to identify malformed XML?
Before continuing, let me say these are on-demand services and response
time is important (min, max & mean are tracked month-to-month).
Jerry, I'm concerned about jumping to PASE repeatedly taking too much time.
Tim, XMLPARSE looks good but requires the XML to be in a variable. A SQL
char() can't hold these XML files, so I'll need to find the most efficient
way to read an IFS file into a CLOB (provided that XMLPARSE can handle a
CLOB variable).
Thanks
