When you say migrate, did that include a full save of the Power7 and then a full restore to the Power9.

We used our cloud backup to migrate from a power7 to a power9, including the IFS. It was pretty slick.

Thinks about how you recover. Getting a save is not the hard part, recovering object is the whole point.

There are many xfers, in both directions, between local Win servers
and Power i.
Some are old ftp, some are copy via mapped drives.
All are automated batch programs (either batch files on Win or clp
driven ftp on i.
No budget for hefty products.
sftp is in use to external vendors.
Is sftp the way to go, or is there another open method. V7.3..
