The other action taken has been to look at the printer from a web browser via the printer IP and
Adjusted the printer settings.

I've set up a variety of remote output queue printers. When doing a configuration, I've always consulted this site for reference.

subject: Remote OUTQ print to HP M454dn extra page

Have a remote output queue setup to print to a HP M454dn.
Every spool file prints an extra first page that is blank except for a capital E in the upper far corner of the page.
I can send the spool file to another HP printer defined as a remote output queue (not a M454) and no extra first page.

We had the same situation about a week ago on another HP M454.
I messed around with different HPT settings and could not get rid of the extra page.
I finally made a device description for the printer and that resolved the problem.

Has anyone set up a HP M454 as a remote output queue?
If so, can you share your definition? Any other suggestions are welcome.
