I wrote the following PASE script to display a list of sub-directories(top level only) along with the number of files and total size of each sub-directory.
How can I get the output from the du and find commands on one line?
ls -ld * |grep '^d'|awk '{print $9}'|while read d
do
du -sk $d
find $d|wc -l
done
