Charles, I found that setting (Edit > Preferences > Results >
Automatically Close...). Mine was set to 10 min. I set it at 1 min and
tested it. Works. I am going to leave it at 1 min that should solve the
issue most of the time.
Thanks

Yes the issues are with the CLRPF, CLRPFM or DELETE. The main file I
in trouble with is cleared several times during the run. If we have anthe

I have fixed the program so we don't have the errors like we used to but
still have issues.

The locks shouldn't prevent any real work from being done.
Usually the biggest issue is old processes with a CLRPFM that
reconnectexclusive lock.
Two options there,
- refactor to use an SQL DELETE or TRUNCATE TABLE
- add an ALCOBJ CONFLICT(*RQSRLS) prior to the CLRPFM.

Thus leaving a shared for update lock on the file and member. You
not be seeing any records locked.
You'd have to disconnect from the server to fully close the file.

I am using ACS Run SQL Scripts to research data when errors
somethingfor
that matter other reasons also.myLib/myTable.
I will use a simple SQL statement like
SELECT *
FROM myLib/myTable
WHERE Client = 'ABC'
This creates a lock on the object and members of the object
If I forget to disconnect or run another statement over
locks?else.
This can create issues.
I found the WITH UR clause. I get the same results.
What can I do to run my simple SELECT without Object/Member
