Don't forgot that producing the results in a separate window you can cancel the window and have it remove the file read lock.

I tried the stop and it did not work.
I just need to get in a better habit of using the Ctrl+F11 to reconnect or
Ctrl+F12 to disconnect.

should not be seeing any records locked.

You'd have to disconnect from the server to fully close the file.
