The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Why can't you read them? Because they weren't saved with the right TGTRLS?
Yes, that is why I switched to getting the file instead of a save file.
Or is there really a format change?
There are also multiple formats of the same file. I mentioned that because it would be much easier to just copy a generic version of the file to every customer library. I am doing this for another business unit and it copies the file until it is at a generic format. System 36 stuff. Been twenty three years since I touched S36. Where procedure means something different!
I should have also mentioned this is going to be an automated process where I create the FTP script on the fly. This will run doing a GET to another partition and remote machines.
So I would not know what release I am dealing with on the machine when doing the SAVOBJ to a save file. One remote is at a newer release. There may be others, still developing it.
I think the only solution, which is what I was proceeding to do, is manually bring the file over and put it in the customer's library so the FTP get does not give me a flat file. I will just consider it part of setup.
