I am on V7R3 and have a current ticket open with IBM.

We installed the latest CUME, Groups and Hypers recently and users
identified a problem in programs using Buttons.

After much testing we have identified that the operation is different
between CA400 and iACS.

The DDS is as follows for one button.

A 11 2'Expenses . . . . .'
A S05EXA 8Y 2O 11 24 TEXT('Expenses')
A EDTCDE(4)
A OVRDTA
A S05PSHEXA 2Y 0B 11 35 PSHBTNFLD(*NORSTCSR (*NUMROW 1))
A PSHBTNCHC(1 'Details' CF07)
A CHCAVAIL((*COLOR BLU))

What is happening is when the user clicks the button the value returned in
S05PSHEXA is 01 - All good

After the program process this option the screen an EXFMT is issued to
redisplay that screen.

In CA400 the value of S05PSHEXA = 00

In iACS the value of S05PSHEXA = 01

I have been going through DDS and RPG manuals trying to find anywhere this
documented as to what the operation should be and to date I have not found
a definition.

So my questions are;

Can anyone point me to a definition of how the PSHBTNFLD field should
operate.

And do you have an opinion on whether the value should reset on the EXFMT
or should be explicitly reset within the program ?

Thanks

Don
