I've used Eudora/Thunderbird for almost 20 years, lots of filters and all. I do sometimes get connection errors that I suspect have more to do with my provider. Of course, Thunderbird is now community-supported, and I must say it did well for me - just had to get a new laptop, previous one apparently had a power supply fail. Moving TB to the new one didn't work at first, migration instructions didn't know about where Eudora used to store everything, so I was seeing only current emails. With the aid of someone in the community there I have everything doing well again.

Do you hear that big sigh of relief from north central USA?
