it's been 20 years since I did this....

we just put some bar code scanners on some pc's,
and the users are asking for a F-key template...

I made them forever ago...
(code3of9)
I thought the F1 key was just a $Q
but that causes the screen to "invalid function key"

does anybody remember how do to this? or a link?
