+1 - this is the answer. If you can use this SQL service use it. For completeness and in case anyone reading this later need to get locks at the object level, here is the CL we use that returns the first lock on an object. Not sure where this came from, but it's obvious no one in our shop wrote it. https://code.midrange.com/9f5d5863bf.html
