I have been requested to provide SFTP access to IBMi and authenticate
using Username and Password.

Ok while strange to not use digital keys I have the SFTP access connecting
with username and password.

The default directory the remote site accesses is the home directory
specified on the user profile they are logging in with.

I am wanting to restrict this remote access to only that directory.

All the SFTP set up stuff I have read does not address this.

The /home/user directory has
*PUBLIC *RX
USER *RWX

The /home directory has
*PUBLIC *RWX
QSYS *RWX

How do I lock that user to the one directory only ?

I have tried *EXCLUDE at the /home level but that seemed to make no
difference

I know I have done this before but ...

Thanks for any replies

Don
