Well, they did a WRKACTJOB to *PRINT before and after running my app that
lists jobs. The job(s) were in the WRKACTJOB lists but not in the QUSLJOB
list.

We tried comparing the total number of jobs with WRKACTJOB and the API, but
they have jobs starting and stopping all the time so that is futile. But
these are long running QSPL printer jobs that should be active, show active
in WRKACTJOB, not in QUSLJOB. Again, the are in EVTW but that shouldn't
make a difference. I checked a few other print jobs in TIMW and they
showed up in all 3 lists.

WRKACTJOB
QUSLJOB
WRKACTJOB

That's the order we did it, in case it wasn't clear. :)

We are doing more debugging to see what's going on. It will be interesting
to see if the same jobs are the issue.

Might they have been busy for the very short time the API ran, therefore
not
available to it?

Asked another way, are the ones that don't show up consistent?

Failing a yes to either one of those I'd create a case for it....

Subject: QUSLJOB API Not listing all jobs?

Has anyone ever run across the QUSLJOB API not listing all active jobs?

I have a case where a customer is not getting a few jobs listed in the QSPL
subsystem mainly. They are in EVTW status but this API didn't report some
of them being active.

It had a few, but not all. Very frustrating. :)
