Maybe this will help as well.

The main Apache Tomcat *configuration file* is at
/opt/bitnami/tomcat/conf/server. *xml*. Once Apache Tomcat starts, it will
create several log files in the /opt/bitnami/tomcat/logs directory.

A Bitnami stack on an IBM Midrange system?!? That seems odd. I know you can get Tomcat in a Bitnami stack, but I've never heard of doing that on an IBM Midrange box. I've never heard of *any* Bitnami stack on an IBM Midrange box before. I've never used a Bitnami stack on anything other than a cloud-based Linux instance.

I just unpack a standard Tomcat server ZIP file wherever I please (which in our case is within the /wintouch IFS directory, since I normally install it to run the web server for our Wintouch CRM product).
