Ah, so you're dealing with vendors who still tier prices. All I ever need
is a partition count for a quote. :) No command should be needed for that.

You kind of missed the quoting thing, multiple vendors, multiple systems,
etc? I've not loaded a darn thing and they want this information prior to
the presentation.

It's built into ours, Rob. No "extra loading" of a command once the
software is installed.

I really do not need to load a custom command from multiple vendors
doing quoting to 15 lpars when the information is easily accessible
via other means.

As a vendor, I made my own command to display all the information
required for key generation myself. Any vendor should be able to do
that so you can easily provide the information they need.

The only issue I have is most will screenshot our command instead of
copying and pasting the text. to an email. :)

When a vendor asks you this
System Serial Number . . . . :
System Model Number . . . . . :
Processor Feature Code . . . :
Processor Group Number . . . :
Logical Partition Count . . . :
Number of System Processors . :
Number of Active OS Processors:

What's an easy way to get all this?
I'm kind of having a day and a SQL service isn't jumping up and down
in front of me. And searching IBM docs isn't helping this morning
to find an appropriate API or some such thing. Perhaps it's my
newness with the new layout.
