Re: Sending SMS txt messages

Arpeggio has a simple to use SMS package that lets you send and receive SMS and MMS messages using simple CL commands and RPG calls. It's built using Twilio. The issue will be the V5R3.

I don't know of any pre-packaged applications to send text messages ... but if you want to use one of the web services, how about creating a java server on a PC that monitors a data queue.

Your host application can send a message to the data queue, the java application picks up the queue entry and invokes the web service.
