what debugger?
The mention of eval leads me to suspect the use of the green screen
STRDBG...
Maybe this doc will help?
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/debug-sql-procedures-triggers-udfs
I've always used the graphical debugger...

Hi,
It's been a while since I had to debug an SQL Stored procedure, and I
always forget how to display a variable.
Anyone remember? I thought it was...
If the variable is named XYZCount then you use eval %%XYZCount. But
that's not working.
BTW this is on a v5r4 server
Little help?
