Hmm. Well the example to which somebody referred me earlier used *both*
spawn *and* sendmsg/recvmsg. And it had *no* provision for the issue at
hand, namely, spawning off a dedicated child-server job, under the user
profile of the user who had connected, and passing the socket across a
user profile boundary (which, for all I know, is either impossible or
also requires *ALLOBJ authority).
And even if it had, it would have still required weeks of reengineering
and revalidation of a very complicated application before we could let
it out of the building.
