The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

FWIW: If you are adding fields, put them at the end.
Back in the 90s we added some fields to a large file. Boss wanted one
of them near the front. Job ran forever and we had to cancel it as the
update window was being exceeded. After testing timings on a smaller
file, we determined that putting the new fields at the end was the most
effective time wise. As I recall we ended up using CHGPF with the new
fields at the end.
Now that was (probably) 15 years ago and things may have changed and the
position of new fields may no longer be important.
