We have a new enhancement that appears to have been overlooked. We added a
SYSCOLUMNS2_SESSION view as part of last fall's deliverables. It will show
you the column definitions in your QTEMP tables. Content assist has been
instrumented to use this view as well.


That doesn't work for qtemp. OP was asking about qtemp. This is why the
cool method of the content assist (ctrl-space) also doesn't work.

What about consulting the table columns with SQL? For example:

select * from qsys2.syscolumns where table_name = 'MY_TABLE'
order by colno
