The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
There's a few parts:
- Selecting the user profiles
- Determining what actions should be taken with objects they own.
- Deleting the user profiles
You could write a program to cycle through this:
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_74/rzajq/rzajqviewuserinfo.htm
If you want to just delete the owned objects, or just assign all of them to someone else those are options on DLTUSRPRF ... OWNOBJOPT(*CHGOWN SSA)
If you want to be more granular on it there's
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_74/rzajq/rzajqviewobjown.htm
If you got some grit you could write this all as an SQL stored procedure. Set up a cursor on user_info, call this
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_74/rzajq/rzajqprocqcmdexc.htm
to call either DLTUSRPRF, or CHGOBJOWN or CHGOWN then DLTUSRPRF
