Is there a snowball's chance that IBM will provide support for IBM i 7.4 for some of their products in less than two years after IBM i 7.4 became GA?
I have case TS004795492 open with IBM right now regarding IBM Security Identity Manager. Although we've been using ISIM with IBM i 7.4 for an extended time now it sure would be nice if they actually would support it.

Hi Robert,
I get a reply from L3. Since you are using Vi7.4 for some time as you mention. If you run into any issue please let us know.
//////// L3 update //////////
While the adapter is not certified on vi7.4, I think the adapter should work
fine as it is provided there are no major differences between i7.3 and i7.4.
You can ask the customer to try with the existing adapter if they are ok with
it.
We do have i7.4 certification on the roadmap, but cannot give you an ETA yet.

They're getting like a bunch of other vendors who rely upon their customers to certify their product for new releases of IBM i.
Ah, nothing like running uncertified security software to please the auditors...
