Hello,

after upgrading to IBM i Access from 1.1.8.5 to 1.1.8.6 by running

cd Mac_Application; ./install_acs

I again see that one or more of my configured systems vanished from the system popup menu. Using my beloved diff UNIX command, I found out that configuration files were reset to zero bytes.

In IBM/iAccessClient/Settings/client.configuration/com.ibm.iaccess.base.x0041csx0053ystemx0043onfig are subdirectories for every configured system, and within there are prefs.dat files. If the file is zero bytes, the accompanying system will not show up in the popup menu.

Anyone else seeing this?

(It’s good to have backups…)

:wq! PoC
