Actually,
tr -d '\r' <DSPIFSLCKR.rpgle >DSPIFSLCKR.txt

and so forth. What you suggested doubles the line breaks. And actually,
there's a desktop utility program that will do that from Finder, without
having to open a command line session; I have it on my "bionic desk
lamp" Mac at home, and it works great, but I would rather not hunt
around for it at the office, assuming I can even find a version for
Mojave on an Intel Mac.
