Another option is to have them using iACS instead of the old Client Access for Windows. Then their 5250 window will have a drop down under Actions for Printer Output. That can be easily used to generate PDF's from any of their spool files. It may require that you have 5770TS1 loaded although I'm not sure. I just always load that on all systems.
