We are migrating from an old 620 iSeries at V5R1 to a newer IBM I 740 at
V7R1.
The Go Live is this weekend.
We have the new environment working and we are ready.
We need to update the new machine with the current user profiles
including the related passwords and status. In the time we did the first
dump on the new machine new users have been added, users have changed
their passwords. Most user profiles on the new machine are now *disabled
because they automatically get disabled after 90 days.
Will doing a savsecdta on the old machine and rstusrprf on the new
machine resolve these issues?
Other unanticipated impacts? Gotchas? Any issues with permissions to
watch out for?
Thx,
Jerry
