that is a great question. I do not have a lan console connection at the moment, but i doubt there is a way to see th IP address of the connedt console.

I have an RFE:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewRfe&CR_ID=122584
to see the IP addresses that are configured in SST. maybe you could create an RFE to show the connected IP address.
