If you're working with qsys.lib your coworkers may be more comfortable with a stored procedure based off of something like object_statistics or syspartitionstat (for members).
I have a sample stored procedure which burns through all members without any locks and submits off a rgzpfm if the deleted row count is significant.
Sure not as simple as that qsh statement though.
Thank you for that! I'm working on automating regular RGZPFMs and that approach had not occurred to me at all. I may still run with trusty TAATOOLS' RGZALLPFM, the only problem with it is that it will select files that meet either the deleted percent criteria OR the deleted space criteria, but you can't specify to run it with AND for the two conditions. Your approach would let me handle that myself.
