"the web pages do not connect" normally indicates that this is not the iACS but instead is the webby IBM Navigator for i. This is a different situation. Basically IBM had shipped that with self signed certificates. IDC what anyone's opinion of self signed certificates are - the opinion doesn't matter. What does matter is that many browsers flag self signed certificates as risky. IBM got tired of the complaints so, with certain PTF's etc, they turned off the https version of IBM Navigator for i and only have the http version available. If you want to turn back on the https version then you will have to turn that back on yourself. Preferably at that time you will have loaded some non self signed certificates.
