Hello, all,

One of my customers says "We asked IBM and they told us we can upgrade
directly from V7R1 to V7R4."

Is this really even possible?

AFAIK, IBM has never permitted a direct upgrade across more than two
releases, e.g. skipping over one intermediate release, "in one go."

So, I would expect to have to upgrade from 7.1 to either 7.2 or 7.3 first,
and then upgrade to 7.4.

Anyone know any different, with regard to 7.4?

Thanks in advance.
