That's what I was afraid of. In this case, there would be too much
variability to come up with a generic column layout. I'll have to see if I
can come at the problem in a different way.

When Creating an UDTF you need to now your output columns.
You might be able to return multiple (Character) Return Output Columns.
Execute a dynamic SQL Statement where you return the number or predefined
columns.
I do something like this in my generic UDTF that reads a *.csv and splits
the result into columns.
