Re: David Gibbs recognition!

This list is one of the brightest lights in the IBM i world, and David deserves every iota of credit for that.  The crowning achievement to me is that he's been able to keep this list true to its purpose all this time.  That's a testament to his relatively light but absolutely firm management. He's built a real community here, and all it requires is an occasional gentle admonishment.  Heck, we monitor ourselves.  How many times does a post start with something along the lines of, "Before David steps in..."

I've heard rumors that on occasion he sends a private email to address more egregious behavior, but I can neither confirm nor deny...

I was not the slightest bit aware that he worked for O'Reilly Auto Parts. They've been my auto parts dealer of first choice for years, ever since Kragen became a part of O'Reilly.
