Paul -

As usual, there are several ways to do this. I have a similar process in
which I QUOTE RCMD CALL MYSBMJOB. MYSBMJOB is a CL that contains only a
SBMJOB command with LOG(4 0 *MSG) parm that contains (in your case) CALL
QSNDDTAQ ('ZM205R_PQ' 'BKS2MAIL' X'00128F' 'TEST'). This creates a job
log that you can review.

Thanks,

Steve McKay

We have 2 IBM I systems on V7R3 that run FTP scripts back and forth.
Everything works well for the most part.

We have a script on machine A that starts an FTP session with machine B
and executes this FTP statement.
QUOTE RCMD CALL QSNDDTAQ ('ZM205R_PQ' 'BKS2MAIL' X'00128F' 'TEST')

On machine A the ftp response is that the remote command was sent
successfully.

On machine B how can I see the result of the RCMD that was submitted by
machine A?
Is there a log I can query? Is there a job I can look at?
