Hi Alexei,

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Unusually - the Test environment is on the same system as the Prod so it is
the same OVRDBF command.
And the same programs - run from the same library.

Only the Data Libraries are different and I can't see any difference in the
tables with regard to layout or authority.
Given that the code has worked for a couple of years, and still works when
run over 3 of the 4 data libraries - I'm really stumped as to what can be
different and causing this issue.

Unfortunately the batch server runs 24 hours a day so I haven't yet had a
chance to debug the production version which has the issue but I hope to
find a time slot to do that soon.

Also, I can't see how you can look at ANOTHER job (e.g service and debug
the batch server job) and see Activation Group level overrides. When you
use WRKJOB option 15 as far as I can see they don't show up, you need to
issue DSPOVR FILE(somefile) ActGrp(someActGrp) to see the override.
So I've created a copy of the trigger program which uses QDMRTVFO to log
that info to a file so I can see it.
That will tell me if the override is in place but being ignored, or just
not in place. There is nothing in the joblog to indicate that the override
is failing.
thanks again,
Craig
