On top of the MAC issue, ACS 1.1.8.5 is incredibly responsive when using the IFS. IBM wasn't kidding.
It loads very quickly. I have huge IFS directories / files on our various partitions. The difference from 1.1.8.4 and
Previous is just terrific.

Hello,
new ACS 1.1.8.5 was announced by a client start today. Downloaded, checked, typing @ and other Alt-Special-Chars works again on Mac.
Hooray, thanks to the reporter for making IBM known about the issue! Thanks to the guys at IBM for fixing this issue!
