The first thing I would check is that Run SQL Scripts itself shows 1.1.8.4. It's very common, accidentally or otherwise, for people to have multiple versions installed on their laptops and you want to be sure you're running the right one.
The next thing I would check is that you're running the examples out of the right directory and not set to some corporate approved examples share or some such thing that is rather dated.
