Normally this is done by relaying through someone. You do a
CHGSMTPA<F4> and replace the value in Forwarding mailhub server . . .
FWDHUBSVR
Often this requires you to change the server you are forwarding though
to have them add your IP address to their permit list. You'll need to
provide that information to them.

Subject: Converted from IBM i POP/SMTP to Exchange How to email from
IBM i
CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Do
not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender
and know the content is safe.
We recently went from using a hodgepodge of the IBM i POP3 and SMTP
servers along with some bits of MS-Exchange to a full-blown
MS-Exchange set up. Most everything seems to be working very well.
However, we have some IBM I programs which generate an email. What I'm
having trouble with is how do I get the IBM i to send the message to our Exchange server?
Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this working?
Thanks,
Michael Quigley
