SQL Workbench will sometimes reformat statements that way. I was always surprised that it sill worked.

Just found out that you can have extra spaces in qualified statements like this
SELECT FSXCMD
FROM gdi . QUSRBRM . QA1AFS
WHERE FSNAME = 'QLNKOMT';

The above will work as well as
SELECT FSXCMD
FROM gdi.QUSRBRM.QA1AFS
WHERE FSNAME = 'QLNKOMT';

In fact, when you run the generate_sql procedure it will put the extra spaces in there. That's what got me started. I thought it was a bug.

Just something to know.
