You don't, at least as far as I've been able to figure out. If you were to
take the search you used and then put it into a separate browser and use
google to search you would see a nearly identical list.
As to the fix, that would involve a massive change to IBM's web site
development crew, since they are the ones that programmed it.......

How do I get IBM's "Search within results" to only search within results?
When looking at 7.4 PTF cover letters there is a box at the top to search
within results. However, if I type in a string of ATKRST100E for an error I
am receiving I get 1,700+ results, most of whom are not part of the 7.4 PTF
cover letters.
