To take it a step further, for those who haven't been following open
source on PASE too closely, you should always favor the
/QOpenSys/pkgs/bin version of anything, where available. It's going to
be the best supported, and it's going to behave the closest to modern
"mainstream" Unix/Linux.

And if something you want isn't in /QOpenSys/pkgs/bin, check yum or
ACS to see if it is available. There's always a chance IBM has added
it since you last checked.
