Once I received a test fix for ACS.
It allowed for using mixed case on the user data for printer output.
Rename worked at that time.

Nope. I always do it during production while everybody is connected. I don't do a rename though. Try just to copy the original JAR first. Then replace it.

I tried renaming the current acsBundle.jar file to a backup, but in use.
Does everyone need be signed off and all ACS sessions closed to replace the acsBundle.jar file?

Yes, you can just drop the jar file over the older one. Anyone restarting ACS will get the new jar.

I've not seen the need to recreate anything yet, and I suspect if we needed to our friends at IBM might be a bit loquacious about it. Then again you only do that as a backup so, why not?

I'm working on our ACS 1.1.8.4 upgrade.
We run a central deployment with 3 different shares, base, transfer, full.
This is my first upgrade since deploying ACS.

Can I simply replace the acsbundel.jar file on the central sever, Or Do the entire contents of the IBMiAccess_v1r1(2) need to be replaced.
I know you need be careful and not replace your ACSconfig.properties file.

I also use the autoimport feature,
Do I need to recreate the acs_bak.zip file which is used?

com.ibm.iaccess.autoimport=\\xxxx.pencor.com\ibm_acs_base$\Current\acs_bak.z
ip
com.ibm.iaccess.autoimport.version=1

Thank You
