How to identify your current WAS fix pack level?

- Classic Profile Installations:

Review the <app_server_root>/properties/version/ WAS.product file on the
IBM i IFS, where <app_server_root> is the root directory of the IBM
WebSphere Application Server product installation.

Example:
WRKLNK 'QIBM/ProdData/WebSphere/AppServer/V85/Express/properties/version/WAS.product'

Enter Option 5 next to the WAS.product file to display its contents.
The version information will be listed next to the <version> tag
just like the example below. The minimum version supported at IBM i
7.3 OS is 8.5.5.10.

IAS/IWS is based on IBM Liberty and is continuous delivery - Liberty is
being developed as a continuous delivery product and thus the version
changes. Officially, on IBM i, you will see on Web Admin GUI version 8.5.
However, if you take a look at the log file for the server it will show
the actual version of the runtime in the form of YY.0.0.NN, where YY is
the year the fixpack is released, and NN is the number of the fixpack in
that year.

The latest fixpack available on IBM i is 20.0.0.4, available in the
following PTFs:

SI73042 V7R4M0
SI73043 V7R3M0
SI73044 V7R2M0

However, if you have an IAS or IWS server that is running in JRE 7, the
last IBM Liberty version that supports JRE 7 is 19.0.0.6. So if you want
to get the latest runtime you will have to change the JRE from JRE 7 to
JRE 8, which may be done from the Web Admin GUI under server properties.

I have been asked to find out what version of WAS, IIS, IAS & IWS is
installed on our IBM I. We do not have either 5733W85 or 5733W90
installed
