The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
How would that handle wrapped joblogs? If an incident dumps a spooled file joblog, that gives you a point-in-time record. If the joblog wrapped one or more times, and the job ended yesterday, how does a pending joblog help?

Perhaps they realized that if people got off their fascination with making all their joblogs into spool files but instead just kept them joblogs it's a LOT easier, cheaper, etc to search them using the new IBM i Services?
