I have to agree with the person who suggested converting it to a PDF and storing it as a stream file.

He is requiring a different user on the second spoolfile.

Depending on the type of spooled file, you might be able to use CPYSPLF.

CPYSPLF FILE() JOB() CTLCHAR(*FCFC)
OVRPRTF FILE() CTLCHAR(*FCFC)
CPYF FROMFILE() TOFILE()

Subject: Duplicate automatically a QSYSPRT Spool file to another Outq

Hi i all

I would need automatically duplicate the spool files of a specific procedure in another outq under another user ..

Example : my programA generate a QSYSPRT spool file in MyOutq , i would automatically (or in easiest way possible) duplicate the QSYSPRT from MyOutq to NewOutq under NewUser (.. before in came printed ) . Pratically , i need to save the spool in suche way the i can check them without that the user can delete them .

Thnaks in advance

Gio
