Hello Rob
Being notified when a process is run by QSECOFR sounds very useful
Could you drop my some pointers ?
(on a 2nd thought, perhaps get a email when QSECOFR signs on will suffice)
TIA
Gad

Yes, you could open up a RFE.
While you are waiting on action on the RFE you could add a command exit
point program which checks for anyone running CRTPRTF and changes any
default of no expiration to some new default value. It may be tough for
anyone to intentionally set a no expiration date however if you do this.
But do you care? Just have them pick some ridiculously huge number instead.
I've done a number of command exit points. I find they are useful for:
- emailing me the joblog of whenever someone uses QSECOFR
- Changing SNDDST (if the parameters were set for email) to whatever email
program I preferred. And I could log it so I can change the code later to
take advantage of that product.
